Eco Easter:
How to Have a Sustainable Easter: Here are some Egg-cellent Eco-Friendly Tips
Easter is a time for celebration, but it can also be a time for environmental impact. Here are some tips to help you have an eco-friendly Easter while still enjoying the festivities:
Make Your Own Treats: Instead of buying plastic eggs, make your own treats like chocolate nests or flapjacks. Recycle and Reuse: Look for brands that use recyclable packaging and recycle your eggshells.
Decorate Sustainably: Use in-season flowers, plants, or recycled materials for decorations.
Plan Meals Carefully: Avoid overbuying and save or freeze leftovers to enjoy later.
Use Compostable Items: Compost eggshells or use them in your garden as natural fertilizer.
Thank You Space:
In this section of our church notices, we would like to thank those who do so much for our church family. Our focus this month is on those who cater for us. So, we would like to thank: The Catering Team for all the work that they do. We would also like to thank the many bakers who provide items for our Cake Stall. And a big thank you to those who provide our tea, coffee & biscuits each week. You are all appreciated by the church family.
The next edition of the notices will be available from Sunday 3rd May 2026.
Please send any items for inclusion to Sarah before Tuesday 28th April. These notices will be updated once a month, so please hold onto them, do not delete them, until you get a revised version. That will save us time and money in unnecessary reprinting and will do another small bit for the environment, they are also published on our church website. If you have any additional notices for the month of then please email me and the Duty Steward will announce them on the relevant Sunday. Thank you.
